3 Steps to determine a relationship (such as paternity):
1) Order the appropriate test from AbuseCheck. There are tests for legal purposes and for personal
purposes. Personal testing involves self-collection of specimens.
For legal testing AbuseCheck will set up appointments
at a laboratory collection site in your area (within 30 miles from
your location).
2) A receipt will be emailed to you shortly after you order. If you select a "Personal Test", then a collection kit with
the instructions and the appropriate amount of supplies for your test will be sent to the address indicated in the order.
If you select a "Legal Test" a collection kit including instructions and the appropriate number of supplies will be sent to a
specimen collection facility within a 30 mile radius from your location in the order and an email will be sent to you to confirm the
location and the request.
3) Results are releases. An email including a PDF of the results will be sent to the email address(es) provided.

amount for testing upfront. A partial refund will only be provided
if the specimen collection and/or laboratory testing do not take
place. The amount of the refund is determined by the cost of the
services that have been provided. Any collection kit(s) which were
shipped, shipping costs, and/or specimen collection costs that have
occurred will be deducted from the amount paid to calculate the
refund amount. Because donors may cause delays in the collection
process, which it not an uncommon occurrence that donors may several
months to get collected, the Institute does have a policy which
guarantees the pricing for 6 months from ordering. If specimens
are not collected within 6 months, we will reimburse the fee collected,
less any costs, mentioned above, which have occurred. NOTE:
The BioPharma Institute is not authorized to provide direct-to-consumer
drug or alcohol testing in the State of Maryland.
